What is Scam Protection?

Scam Protection is a personal cyber insurance product that secures your funds against scams and unauthorized transactions in case your GCash account gets hacked, or you’re tricked into transferring money to an impostor, or buying from a fake seller.

Ano ang covered?

Protektahan ang iyong GCash transactions mula sa:

Social Engineering	Nalinlang kang magbukas ng message galing sa mga entity o taong pinagkakatiwalaan o kilala mo na may layunin na pilitin kang mag padala ng pera, whether through Send Money, Bank Transfer, Pay Online, or other eligible channels.
Account Take-Over	Ang iyong account ay na-access ng ibang tao na syang nakapag money transfer (whether through Send Money, Bank Transfer, Pay Online, or other eligible channels) ng hindi mo awtorisado.
Online Shopping Fraud	Nag money transfer ka (whether through Send Money, Bank Transfer, Pay Online, or other eligible channels) bilang pambayad sa binili mong item online ngunit ang website o platform pala na binilhan mo ay fraudulent o peke.
Unauthorized Transactions	Na-access ang iyong account at gumawa ng unauthorized transactions.

One Time Payment

Sa halagang PHP 30, protektahan ang inyong transactions laban sa mga uri ng scams na covered ng Scam Protection. PHP 15,000 insurance coverage for scams pag naloko ka magtransfer ng pera ng isang impostor or nakabili ka sa isang pekeng seller.

Hanggang PHP 15,000 ang coverage.

Effective ang protection sa loob ng 30 days mula sa date ng availment.

Monthly Renewal

Para sa halagang PHP 20/month lang, tuloy-tuloy ang proteksyon mo laban sa online scams. Protektado ka pa rin sa parehong PHP 15,000 coverage kada buwan for scams. Siguraduhin lang na may sapat na balance ang iyong account para hindi maputol ang iyong monthly protection.

Ang monthly renewal plan na ito ay subject sa Terms and Conditions ng Group Policy. Ang pagbabayad ng monthly premium ay nagsisilbing pahintulot o consent mo para sa renewal ng insurance.

Pwede i-cancel anytime ang monthly renewal plan. Pumunta lang sa GInsure → My GInsure sa loob ng GCash App.

Ano ang ‘di covered?

Hindi covered ng GCash Scam Protection ang sumusunod:

Money transfer na nasend sa maling GCash number.
Potensyal na employer or recruiter kapalit ng pinangakong trabaho.
Anumang claim na may kinalaman sa crypto currency, jewelry, watches, precious metals/gemstones, antiques or collectible items.
Anumang claim tungkol sa loss of employment, accident, sickness or injury.
GCash Express Send money transfer mula sa isang Business Account, o kahit anong business-related transaction.
Anumang loss na may kinalaman sa iyong trabaho tulad ng corporate-related transactions.
Anumang insidente before the start date o after the end date ng iyong insurance cover.
Mga unauthorized transactions gamit ang GFunds, GStocks, GCrypto and GBonds.

How can I avail of Scam Protection?

Simply toggle the Scam Protection option, placed at the bottom of the screen, when doing a Send Money transaction in the GCash app.
