NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC:
This promotion does not involve remittances or money transfers between different individuals. Eligible transactions are strictly limited to fund transfers between accounts owned by the same user (from the user’s own PayPal account to the same user’s own GCash wallet).
SUMMARY
The PayPal Raffle Promo allows eligible GCash users to earn raffle entries for every PHP 5,000 transferred from their own personal PayPal account into their own GCash account. This is a self-transfer mechanism where the user moves their own funds between their own accounts. The more qualifying self-transfers a user completes, the more raffle entries they earn.
Weekly raffle draws will be conducted every Tuesday at 10:00 AM via an online draw, in the presence of a DTI representative. Each weekly winner will receive PHP 10,000. The promo runs from May 15 to August 31, 2026.
PROMO DESCRIPTION
The PayPal Raffle Promo is a tiered raffle campaign that rewards eligible GCash users for self-transferring funds from their linked PayPal account into their GCash wallet. Users earn raffle entries for every qualifying PayPal-to-GCash transaction they perform for themselves, with higher transaction amounts earning more entries.
WHO MAY JOIN
Open to all GCash users who:
- Successfully opt in to the promo during the opt-in period or within the promo duration via the in-app opt-in screen.
- Have a successfully linked personal PayPal account to their own GCash wallet (both accounts must belong to the same person).
- Have a fully verified GCash account for at least thirty (30) days.
Important: Participants must actively opt in to be eligible. Participants may win only once during the entire promo period.
HOW TO JOIN AND QUALIFY
To participate, a user must:
- Opt in to the PayPal Raffle Promo via the GCash app.
- Link their own PayPal account to their own GCash account.
- Perform a successful self-transfer of funds from their own PayPal account to their own GCash wallet during the promo period.
To qualify for raffle entries:
- Users must transfer at least PHP 5,000 (or USD equivalent) from their own PayPal account into their GCash account.
- Each minimum transfer of PHP 5,000 earns raffle entries based on the following tiering:
- PHP 5,000 – PHP 9,999 = 1 entry
- PHP 10,000 – PHP 14,999 = 2 entries
- PHP 15,000 – PHP 19,999 = 3 entries
- PHP 20,000 – PHP 29,999 = 4 entries
- PHP 30,000 – PHP 49,999 = 5 entries
Raffle entries are limited to 5 entries per day.
The following transactions are NOT qualified:
- Funds received from another person’s PayPal account (peer-to-peer transfers).
- Remittance transactions or transfers originating from third-party senders.
- Transfers made using accounts not registered under the participant’s name.
- Reversed, cancelled, or failed transactions.
CUT-OFF TIME FOR ENTRIES
- Weekly entry cut-off is every Sunday at 11:59 PM.
- Transactions completed after the cut-off will be included in the following week’s draw.
DRAW MECHANICS
- Raffle draws will be conducted every Tuesday at 10:00 AM via Google Meet in the presence of a DTI representative.
- Venue: GCash Headquarters, 8th Floor, W Global Center, 9th Avenue corner 30th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
- Winners will be selected randomly from all valid entries for the week.
REWARD DETAILS
- Each weekly winner will receive PHP 10,000.
- A total of fifteen (15) winners will be selected (one per draw cycle).
- Each participant may only win once.
PRIZE CREDITING AND NOTIFICATION
- Winners will be notified via registered mail and through their registered GCash contact details.
- Prizes will be credited to the winner’s GCash wallet within twenty-one (21) business days after validation.
- All winners are subject to system verification to ensure the qualifying transaction was a valid self-transfer.
VALIDITY AND CONDITIONS
- Only verified GCash accounts are eligible.
- Entries are valid only within the week they are earned.
- GCash reserves the right to audit and disqualify users in cases of fraud, such as transaction splitting or using third-party PayPal accounts.
- The following are disqualified: Fraudulent users, accounts under investigation, and employees of G-Xchange Inc. (and their relatives up to the second degree).
This promo is subject to DTI Fair Trade Permit approval.
