The Scan Na Lang Po promo aims to make GCash Scan to Pay a habit in everyday Filipino transactions by leveraging everyday micro-merchant touchpoints, starting with public market stalls.

HOW TO JOIN:

PALENGKE: P5 PANINDA Promo Mechanics

• Customers can avail of specific items (paninda) for only PHP 5 per participating stall for 10 days.
• Eligible items are pre-defined SKUs (e.g., Mantika, Suka, Toyo, Sibuyas, Bawang, Longanisa) jointly determined by GCash and the stall, and will be marked with a promo sticker.
• The purchase of promo items must be made using the pre-set PHP 5 GCash promo QR code.
• The transaction is capped at 1 item per user per stall per day.
• Promo duration is from March  11-20, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Please see attached for the list of participating Palengke Stalls.

Customer Purchase Process

• Customer selects the eligible PHP 5 item.
• Customer pays using the GCash promo QR code (QR is pre-set to PHP 5).
• For non-promo items, the customer must conduct a separate transaction using the merchant’s generic GCash QR.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Each unique customer may only avail of the PHP 5 promo according to usage limits:
   • 1 transaction per user per stall per day. A customer may make multiple transactions daily from different stores to avail the promo SKUs 
2. Promo is valid only for transactions paid via GCash QR Codes pre-set to PHP 5, located at participating Palengke stalls.
3. Promo cannot be converted to cash, exchanged for other goods, or transferred.
4. Users agree that their name and mobile number may be used for verification and benefit fulfillment.
5. Only Fully Verified GCash accounts may join. All transactions are subject to verification.
6. GCash will never ask for passwords, MPINs, OTPs, or SIM cards.
7. Customers must comply with merchant flow guidelines:
   
   • Customers must purchase only the approved PHP 5 SKUs per stall
8. Backend eligibility:
   • Only goods and rides assigned under the official PHP 5 promo allocations qualify
   • Transactions outside the unique promo QR codes, or promo SKUs will not qualify
   • Merchant compliance is required for subsidy release
9. GCash may withhold or cancel benefits for fraudulent, abusive, or non-compliant transactions, including:
   • Using multiple accounts to exceed limits
   • QR manipulation
   • Merchant misreporting
10. GCash may validate availments via internal checks, Third Party Agency reports, and merchant logs.
11. Goods are limited and subject to daily allocation. Once capped, regular pricing resumes.
12. Participating palengke vendors shall comply with standardized pricing arrangements established in coordination with the Public Market Administration and GCash. Any deviation, misrepresentation, or price manipulation, as determined by GCash based on validation, may result in disqualification from the promo and the forfeiture or recovery of any subsidies. The P5 promo cannot be combined with other discounts, including but not limited to senior citizen, PWD (Person with Disability), or other government-mandated discounts
13. Disputes regarding eligibility or compliance will be resolved by GCash with DTI oversight.

What is the campaign about?

The Scan Na Lang Po promo aims to introduce scanning to pay via GCash as a means to pay at palengkes. As a starting bonus, the promo will provide goods and services per location at a discounted rate of P5, provided that customers scan the designated promo GCash QR code.

Who can join the campaign?

All Verified GCash users aged 18 years old and above, currently residing in the Philippines, Dasmariñas City, Cavite, are eligible to join the promo

How many times can I avail the promo?

The promo may only be availed of as follows: 

Palengke: 1 user = 1 use per stall per day

When will I get my P5 Paninda?

You can claim your P5 Paninda immediately, at the time of your transaction; so long as the promo QR is used to pay for the transaction.

What items can I buy for PHP 5?

Only the eligible, pre-packed items marked with the promo sticker:

How do I avail the PHP 5 item?

Follow this process:

1. Choose the item with the PHP 5 promo sticker.
2. Scan the special PHP 5 promo QR (auto-set to PHP 5).
3. Pay via GCash.

Can I buy more than one item in the same stall?

No. The limit is one (1) promo item per stall per day per user.

‍

What if I want to buy other (non-promo) items?

You must make a separate payment using the vendor’s regular GCash QR, not the PHP 5 promo QR.

Are there limited stocks?

Yes. Each stall has a daily allocation. Once sold out, regular pricing resumes for the day.

Can the PHP 5 price be combined with senior/PWD discounts?

No. The PHP 5 promo cannot be combined with any government-mandated discount.

Why is the QR already set to PHP 5?

The promo QR is pre-set to the PHP 5 amount to ensure correct charging for eligible items.

What if the vendor runs out of PHP 5 packs?

Once the stall’s daily allocation is depleted, they must return to regular pricing.

What if a stall is selling items not marked with the promo sticker?

Only items with the official promo sticker and within allocation qualify.

What counts as a valid PHP 5 transaction?

A valid transaction must be:

• Done within the day
• Paid using the unique promo QR
• Made by a unique user (max 1 per stall/day)

Can I pay cash and still get the PHP 5 price?

No. The PHP 5 promo applies only when you pay via the special PHP 5 QR.

What if I don’t have GCash?

You may still buy items, but regular prices will apply since the promo is exclusive to GCash QR payments. (Mechanics imply eligibility tied to GCash payment).

How do I know the stall is officially part of the promo?

Look for:

• The PHP 5 promo stickers on items
• The special PHP 5 GCash promo QR
