How this OFW couple built a cacao farm

OFW Marilou and her husband worked overseas for eleven (11) years. They decided to return home for good to pursue business in the Philippines. They aspire to cultivate an inherited 3-hectare agricultural land and turn it into a farming business.

In 2018, they established their business named Tingtano Integrated Farm. Initially, they coordinated with government agencies for possible assistance. They attended seminars, joined trade fairs and participated in various learning and marketing events such as DTI facilitated Trade Fair where they exhibited their freshly produced crops and herb seedlings.

Their farm produces high value crops, livestock, poultry and fish. They also provide accommodation for visitors to experience farm life while savoring the taste of their organic dishes. Currently, they produce Vinegar, Chili Paste and Crispy Oyster Mushroom made of organically grown chilis and mushrooms
