With over 10 years of experience as a cook and seafarer, the husband of Ms. Marilou Sioson developed original recipes and distinctive flavors inspired by sauces he encountered overseas and later introduced to the Philippines.
Their entrepreneurial journey began in 2017 with a ‘Rice Bucket’ business, which eventually evolved into ‘Sauce On’, a brand dedicated to producing a wide variety of specialty sauces. Upon the recommendation of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the owners began bottling their original sauce recipes. Ms. Sioson subsequently participated in DTI’s Kapatid Mentor ME (KMME) program and was later recognized under DTI’s One Town, One Product (OTOP) initiative. As a result, their sauces were officially certified as finished products and are now commercially available.
Media and speaking engagements on DZME, DWIZ, and UNTV (Channel 5) help them reach a broader clientele. The business/product also received DOST’s ‘Most Cooperative MSMEs’ award.
Their business is currently affiliated with the Samahan ng mga Rizaleno sa sektor ng Agrikultura at Pagkain (SARAP), Inc., and Tindahang Rizaleño (TR)
