Fuse Financing Inc. (“FUSE”) respects your right to privacy and is committed to protecting the security and confidentiality of your personal information. We are bound to comply with the Data Privacy Act (DPA) of 2012 (RA 10173), its implementing rules and regulations, and relevant issuances of the National Privacy Commission. We adopt reasonable organizational, physical and technical measures to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of your personal data under our control.

What We Collect

When you apply for a GLoan for Business, we may collect, process, use, store, record, organize, and update the following information necessary or incidental to your GLoan for Business application -

  1. Identification (Know-Your-Merchant) and Account Information - Your personal profile and the profile of the beneficial owner of the business, such as name, age, birthdate, birthplace, nationality, physical address, email address, telephone number, marital status, sex, and other information as may be required by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Securities and Exchange Commission and Credit Information Corporation;
  2. Business Information - Business Name, Business Profile (number of employees, monthly transaction amount, Business Operations (Industry, Sub-Industry, Country of Operations, Business Channels), Business Documents (SEC Certificate of Registration, DTI Certificate of Registration), Business transaction data, physical address, email address, contact number, and registered merchant bank account details;
  3. Financial information - Credit information, credit score, Postpaid billing and collection records, Borrower status, and Payment and collection records,
  4. Transaction History - Data usage records, promo subscription and redemption records, Voice calling data records, SMS sending and receiving records, Customer relationship management records (e.g. correspondences and photos), GCash Scan-To-Pay transaction records, Pre-paid load balance, top-up, and usage records, Value-added service records, GCash balance and transactional records, Monthly purchase data

Why We Collect It

We use your information for compliance with Know-Your-Merchant (KYM) and anti-money laundering rules, credit investigation, credit scoring, debt collection, fraud investigation, product and systems development, data analytics, profiling, sales, and marketing activities and communications relating to FUSE Group’s products and/or services, and the continuous enhancement of customer experience:

How do We Collect It

We collect information from various channels:

  • Direct Interactions - When you avail yourself of the loan product through our partner platforms, we may still directly collect additional personal information from you.
  • Via Our Partner Platform - When you avail yourself of our loan products and services through our partner platform GCash for Business, you instruct them to disclose your personal data to us.
  • Credit Investigation Agencies and Credit Information Entities - When FUSE conducts verification of loan applications, we may verify and receive information from Credit Investigation Agencies and Credit Information Entities.
  • From Other Third-Parties - For instance, we receive or send your personal data when you exercise your right to data portability (that is, your right to move, copy or transfer your personal data from one company to another).
  • From Your Friends, Family Members, or Former Employers - For example, if we reach out to them for payment collection.
Who do we share it with

We will share the information we collect to the following:

  1. FUSE Affiliates - As part of our business operations, FUSE works with various companies affiliated with it and our partner platform GCash for Business, this includes FUSE’s parent company, Globe Fintech Innovations, Inc., GXchange, Inc., which is the main company that runs GCash and GCash for Business, and other related companies like BlockG Virtual Assets, Inc. (BlockG) and Globe Telecom, Inc.
  2. Financial Institutions and Loan Investing/Purchasing Companies - To consistently provide you with high-quality loan products and services we may share your personal data with other financial institutions and loan investing/purchasing companies. For instance, as part of our efforts to manage our assets, we may sell or assign our loan accounts and our non-performing loans and assets, which may involve the sharing of your personal data with other trusted financial institutions.
  3. Credit Investigation Agencies and Credit Information Entities - To deliver our loan products and services, confirm identities, evaluate creditworthiness, manage risks, prevent fraud and crime, and more, we may share your personal data to our credit investigation agencies. We may also share your information with any credit information bureau, banking, or credit industry association, credit information service provider, and credit/loan provider, including the Credit Information Corporation (“CIC”), Bankers Association of the Philippines, TransUnion Information Solutions Philippines, and Trusting Social Philippines, Inc.; and (c) other lenders as authorized by the CIC, and credit reporting agencies duly accredited by the CIC.
  4. Partners - We may collaborate with different institutions, merchants, billers, outlets, and others to offer you a broad range of loan products and services and to reach more potential borrowers. For example, if you participate in a promotion with our partners, we may share your personal information, promo subscription, and redemption records with them.
  5. Service Providers - We also share your personal data with trusted service providers who assist us in making our loan products and services seamless and efficient. They help us in various ways, such as loan management, loan collection, payment processing and reminders, answering your questions, analyzing data, managing risk, preventing fraud, preparing reports, and more. They play a big role in making sure that our loan products and services run smoothly for you.
  6. Fraud and Crime Prevention Partners - We are dedicated to protecting you and the other users of our loan products and services from fraud and other crimes. By sharing some of your personal data, we contribute to a safer and more transparent financial ecosystem. This protects you and the broader financial community.
  7. Law Enforcement Agencies, Regulatory Bodies, and Courts - We may share your personal data with law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, courts, and other public authorities. We will only do this if required by law or to protect our rights, prevent fraud, and ensure the safety of the users of our loan products and services and the public.
How Long We Keep It

Your personal information will only be kept for at least 5 years after the last transaction you made or after you close your account. We may also keep this information for as long as we are required by anti-money laundering requirements, for compliance with BSP regulations, and for other legal obligations. After this period, we shall securely dispose of your personal information, unless we are legally required to keep it for a longer duration.

How We Protect It

All data collected and processed in relation to your GLoan for Business transaction or application will be securely stored and protected. We take reasonable steps to secure your personal data from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorized access, modification, and unauthorized disclosure by implementing security measures. Only authorized personnel have access to these personal data.

Data Subject Rights

We'll handle all your requests to access, correct, or move your personal information unless legal reasons prevent us from doing so. You can request a copy of any personal information we have about you, and if something needs updating, we're here to help you correct it.
