  • Apply for installment limit
  • Browse and select item to be purchased
  • Review item details then press next
  • Press buy now and pay in payment confirmation
  • Choose GCash as Payment Option
  • Enter payment details/ GCash number
  • User receives MPIN Challenge SMS –Akulaku pending payment screen.
  • GCash subscriber will receive the 50% (up to P200) cashback within 3 days of the successful transaction.

What is the Promo of GCash and Akulaku?

What items are eligible for the promo?
All items that accept GCash payment are eligible for the promo. Payments for installments are also eligible for the promo.

How do I know if my transaction is successful?
You will receive a SMS notification immediately upon successful payment from GCash.

What if I bought an item in Akulaku more than once within the promo period? How much cashback will I get?
You will only get 50% cashback up to PHP 200 cashback for the first eligible Akulaku transaction you made within the promo period. Eligible transactions are Akulaku transactions paid via GCash direct payment only.

Example:
Transaction amount is P100. Cashback amount is 50% of 100 = P50.
If GCash sub transacts again, he is no longer eligible for another cashback even if the max of P200 cashback hasn’t been reached since it is eligible for 1 transaction within promo period only.

What is GCash?
GCash is a BSP-regulated mobile money service that lets you buy load, purchase items, send and receive money, pay bills, and more using your Globe or TM mobile number. Imagine your wallet being inside your phone, and you get to buy more and spend less.

How do I create a GCash account?
With GCash, your account is your Globe or TM mobile number. Registration is done through a simple, one-time process via the GCash App or dialing *143#. After registration, these channels can be also be used to access your GCash account:

Via the GCash App

  • Download the app
  • Enter your mobile number and click Register in the prompt
  • Provide the necessary information as prompted
  • Nominate a 4-digit MPIN
    Note: Your GCash mobile number must be the activated SIM in your phone to ensure a successful in-App registration.

Via *143#

  • On your phone, dial *143# then select ‘GCash’
  • Select ‘GCash’, then ‘Register’
  • Nominate a 4-digit MPIN
  • Provide the necessary information as prompted

How do I become eligible for the Akulaku Cashback Promo?

  1. Download the Akulaku app in Google Play or the App Store
  2. Apply for installment limit
  3. Browse and select item to be purchased
  4. Review item details then press next
  5. Press buy now and pay in payment confirmation
  6. Select GCash as a payment method
  7. Enter your GCash Number
  8. User receives MPIN Challenge SMS, then user replies GCash MPIN via SMS
  9. Upon successful payment via GCash, user receives SMS notification from GCash that payment is successful
  10. Within 3 working days after successful payment, user receives SMS notification from GCash that cashback has been sent

When will the cashback reflect on my GCash account?
The 50% cashback up to PHP 200 will be seeded to your GCash account within 3 working days of successful eligible* transaction at Akulaku.
*eligible transaction is any Akulaku transaction paid via GCash.

What if my transaction is eligible, and I didn’t receive the cashback within 3 working days?

Otherwise, the cashback can only seeded once per GCash account and should meet the conditions for cashback eligibility.

What is Akulaku?
Akulaku is an E-Commerce mobile Application available on Android and IOS which allows users to purchase items through the Akulaku mobile App by paying in full or on deferred payment/installment without a credit card.
Installment term is determined by Akulaku customer but choices are 3, 6, 9, 12 months.

Do I have to create an Akulaku account to purchase on Akulaku?
No, but verification is required if customer wants to purchase items on installment.

Can I get a refund for my Akulaku purchase?

  • REFUND AND REPLACEMENT
    Coverage of Return Policy Depending on the applied Return policy, items may be returned within THREE calendar days (commencing from the date of receipt of the item).
    If you need to refund an item, please be sure to comply with the following clauses:
    Customers must return the original packages and the accessories. The items must not be damaged or scratched; the accessories must be complete;
    The warranty bills must not be opened and used or filled in. items that were maintained or repaired are not applicable to the guaranteed service of Three-Days Refund.

What will I do if I didn’t receive the items I’ve purchased from Akulaku?
Contact the Akulaku customer support for their assistance.
If item wasn’t received at registered address on the delivery date, the 3rd party courier will re-attempt to deliver the item to the registered delivery address.
If you are not available to receive the item, kindly write an Authorization letter, Valid ID and photo copy of valid IDs
