- In order for me to open an EasyEquities US trading account for GStocks Global, it will be necessary for EasyEquities to process, collect, use and store my personal information (which may include special personal information and sensitive personal information), and because EasyEquities is a company located in South Africa, when I (or GCash on my behalf) provide EasyEquities with my personal information (which may include special personal information), the processing of my personal information (which may include special personal information) will be in accordance with the South African data protection legislation (Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA)).
- It is important for me to familiarize myself with the meaning and implications of the terms “process”, “personal information” and “special personal information” as set out in POPIA, and I am aware that the processing includes (but is not limited to) collection, retention, use, storage or distribution of my personal information, as well as using my personal information to open an EasyEquities US trading account for GStocks Global in my name, to enable the performance of my trading and settlement activities and to provide me with services in accordance with the provisions as set out in the EasyEquities Terms and Conditions on GStocks Global US Trading Account.
By clicking accept, I hereby give EasyEquities permission to (i) process my personal information in accordance with its data privacy notice and the EasyEquities Terms and Conditions on GStocks Global US Trading Account, (ii) share my personal information with companies falling in the same group of companies as EasyEquities, (iii) external business partners who provide services to EasyEquities, (iv) successors in title of First World Trader Proprietary Limited trading as EasyEquities, (v) other third parties who may have a justifiable interest in obtaining my personal information such as a regulator with authority over me or EasyEquities, and (vi) GCash for the operation of GStocks Global in partnership with EasyEquities.
Further, I authorize EasyEquities to share, disclose and/or transfer my personal data with GCash for purposes of executing my trades on GStocks Global, settling my funds related to GStocks Global transactions, processing of my deposits into my GCash account and withdrawals from my GCash wallet, and investigating and resolving any inquiries related to my GStocks Global account.
